Check list for a pleasant day
Reserve enough time
In order to see the theatre Emma performances, the nature walks on the island and all the Moomin characters, it is worth coming early and maybe even for a couple of days.
Take a look at the map
Examine the map of the island and different events with their timetables. This will help you find your way around the island and make the most of your Moomin day.
The right equipment
Bring a swim suit, Moomin World has a lovely beach. Whatever the weather, bring equipment suitable for the weather. Moomins love outdoor life, in rain and shine!
The busiest time...
... in Moomin World is July. June and August are quieter months for a visit.
Childcare
There are several well equipped childcare rooms by the toilets. In restaurants you can also heat smaller children's food in microwave ovens.
Wagons
You can rent a wagon for carrying your kids and gear. Just head over to the Väski ticket office. 5 €/day. The Väski ticket office is located in Naantali's Old Town—on the mainland—near the bridge leading to Moominworld.
Info Point
The info point is located between Moomin Post and Sniff's shop. Look for lost property there and you will always find a qualified first-aider.
Payment methods
The restaurants, Sniff's Shop and the old town Moomin Shop accept the most common debit and credit cards. You will need cash in the smaller kiosks. The nearest cash point is in the centre of Naantali.
People with disabilities
The Moomin World forest paths are also accessible for wheelchairs. However, since the island has differences in heights, it is best to check for the mobility case-specifically. If necessary the staff at Moomin World will help you find an easier route. The Moomin House surroundings are paved for easier mobility. The escort of the disabled visitor will naturally be admitted free of charge.
Inva toilets
Inva toilets are located close to Emma theatre and Mamma's Kitchen.
