CHILDREN’S CULTURE THEATRE AT EMMA

Moominworld offers children’s culture at its most fun. The price of admission includes admission to theatre performances at Emma, the Moomins’ covered outdoor theatre. The Summer 2009 repertory includes two plays:

TEARS OF THE DRAGON

This play tells the story of an injured mermaid found by the Moomins. She can only be healed by the tears of a dragon. The audience can influence the outcome of the story in this interactive play. Written by Tiina Puumalainen, the play is performed in Finnish and Swedish.

SO, WHAT HAPPENED THEN?
Based on Tove Jansson’s classic picture book, this musical pantomime tells the story of Moomintroll’s action-filled trip to the milk shop and speaks to all, regardless of their language. The music is composed by Joona Lukala.

PROGRAMME TIMES
'Tears of the Dragon' and 'So, What Happened, Then?' alternate on Emma’s stage throughout the day. Click here for more details on programme times.
